Thomas Henry Baker passed away peacefully on December 11, at the great age of 98. Born in Pearson MB, raised in Calgary and having spent his adulthood in Ontario, Tom returned to Alberta in 1999 to be with his daughter Sandee.
Tommy was a veteran of the Dieppe Raid and of the Italian and Northwest Europe campaigns; having served as a Trooper in the King's Own Calgary Regiment 1939-1945. Many friends near and far, family and the Regiment will remember him for his wit, that twinkle in his eye and his indomitable spirit, not to mention his green thumb. He will be sorely missed.
