THOMPSON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Daren Thompson. Daren passed away on June 12, 2005 at the age of 39 years. He will be dearly missed by his beloved parents Ellwood & Helen; 3 brothers Randy (JoAnne, Tiffany & Jessica), Kelly (Elaine, Lindsay & Liesel) and Darcy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Daren had many friends, including special friends, Derk and Dennis Fokkens, Brent and Deanna Ball and their four children who were especially precious to Daren. Daren’s work on the family farm with his father Ellwood and brother Kelly was his greatest joy. In the winter Daren loved to go mountain sledding. In the summer he loved to explore the West Country on his quad with his friends. His family will treasure the many memories they have of Daren (Skippy). A celebration of Daren’s life will take place on Thursday, June 16 at 2:00pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in Dickson. Viewing will take place at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Dickson Cemetery.
