Tim McCoy of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the age of 66 years. Tim was born in Red Deer to Morris and Mildred McCoy. He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbi McCoy; his children, Stacey (Joe) Reck of Marwayne, Donivan (Ellen) McCoy of Marwayne, Shauna (Terry) Meinema of Marwayne, Tara (Jeff) Moore of Red Deer, Kelsi (Ken) Thomsen of Red Deer; step children Bill (Sam) Scott of Vancouver, Tina (Shawn) Scott of Red Deer, Nick Hamata of Vancouver; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tim is also survived by his brother Robert (Gale) McCoy of Red Deer as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tim was an involved and active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35 for many years. He worked at Canada Post where he retired and was able to dedicate his life to his wife, children and grandchildren. Tim will be so dearly missed, but never forgotten. A Celebration of Tim's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion ( Branch 35), 2810 - Bremner Ave, Red Deer, AB on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Red Deer Legion (Branch 35, 2810 - Bremner Ave., Red Deer AB T4R 1M9 or to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 - Arnot Ave., Red Deer AB T4R 3S6.
