TOD 1934- 2008 It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Dolores Tod, beloved wife and best friend of Ray Tod at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Dolores was born on June 29, 1934 in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. She spent most of her life and obtained her education in Regina, Saskatchewan before relocating to Red Deer with Ray. Dolores faced her cancer with great dignity, courage and strength. At the time of her illness she was involved in many bridge clubs, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved doing crafts, especially knitting, Dolores also enjoyed spending time reading. She will be missed by all. Dolores is survived by her loving husband Ray Tod of Red Deer, her son, Brad Irving (finance Cynthia) of Athalmer, British Columbia, a daughter, Brenda Irving of Regina, Saskatchewan, two sisters, Gail (Robert) Dolman of Langley, British Columbia, Mona Stamberg of Calgary, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all will mourn this remarkable woman. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Gladys and Vincent Nelson, her first husband, William (Bill) Irving, the father of Brad and Brenda Irving. It was Dolores's wish that no funeral be held.
