Travis Tenhove passed away while doing what he loved, mountain climbing in God's creation on June 13, 2020. Travis will be remembered by his loving wife Megan and their son Jess; his parents Bernie and Teresa Tenhove; his siblings Bowen (Rebekah) Tenhove, their children Gresham and Briar Tenhove; Brittany (Jayden) Halsey, their daughter Kalla Halsey; and Taylor Tenhove.
Travis is survived by his grandmothers Femmie Tenhove and Shirley Lodewyk. He will also be remembered by his parents in law Sid and Pat Brouwer; siblings in law Chris (Laura) Brouwer, their daughters Carlena and Helen Brouwer; Robyn (Kevin) Friesen, their daughters Keira, Brooklynn, Rylee, and Cara Friesen; and David (Laura) Brouwer. Travis was loved by countless extended family members. He is predeceased by his grandfathers Eb Tenhove and Dick Lodewyk.
He was faithful in leading his family to love the Lord. Travis was a devoted husband, a protective brother, a soft-hearted son, a proud father, and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Homewood or the GoFundMe page created for Megan and Jess.
Travis' life will be celebrated by Immediate Family at Crossroads Church on Friday June 19, 2020 at 2pm as per COVID-19 regulations. There will be a Livestream available for those who wish to view. Friends and family who are wanting to join in celebrating Travis' life are invited to the Tenhove home at 5pm following the service.
