It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tristan Mathias on August 22, 2021 at the age of 39.
Survived by his wife Kerry Mathias (MacKinnon), mother Wendy Mathias, father David Mathias and sister Danielle Mathias. Auntie Nicky Kettle, cousins Alex (Karen) and Laurence (Bee) Kettle, cousins Shon (Jenny) Lowry and Brice (Laure) Mattson.
Predeceased by Uncle Bob, Aunt Pat, grandparents Edgar and Thea Mathias and Ken and Nancy Miller.
Tristan passed away in his sleep on Sunday August 22nd. Nothing can describe the pain that his family and friends are experiencing.
Tristan was many things including kind, funny, loving, intelligent and compassionate. Our lives will never be the same without him.
He attended school in Red Deer and Sangudo and graduated from NAIT in Network Engineering Technology. He worked full time as a Security Analyst for Alberta Blue Cross. His co-workers remember him as humble, caring and soft spoken with a great smile and a positive attitude.
Tristan and Kerry loved to travel and enjoyed visits to the West Coast, Newfoundland and Scotland as well as visiting family in Sangudo and Red Deer.
A private family gathering has taken place and a Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
