TUCKER, William Ray "Bill" Tucker, beloved husband of Lori Tucker of Red Deer, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the age of 50 years. Bill was born on June 6, 1955 at Red Deer, Alberta. Bill was a wonderful, loving and devoted husband and stepfather who loved his family with all his heart. He was a committed and dedicated employee with Canada Post as a Letter Carrier for the past nineteen years. Bill's tireless dedication and love of helping others led him to become a volunteer with the Red Deer Search and Rescue, Special Technical Rescue Team for the past nine years. This was a position of which Bill was especially proud. He had just earned his Certified Safety Officer Certificate. Bill was a very bright and knowledgeable man in most every aspect. He was a great handyman and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need - there was no need to ask, Bill was there for you. Bill loved the outdoors and found much enjoyment in camping and fishing with friends. "Bill will be remembered for his love of family, being a kind and loyal friend, and a man who was greatly respected for his love of fellow man." Bill leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of twenty-one years, Lori of Red Deer and his stepchildren, Shawna Kokotailo of Calgary, Alberta and David Kokotailo of Red Deer. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Donna and her husband, Doug Parsons, Sandra and her husband, Ron Rossum, his mother-in-law, Norene Sifert, brother-in-law, Gordon Sifert and sister-in-law, Jane Sifert, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew and his dear friends. Bill was predeceased by his mother, Della in 1978 and his father, Ray in 1999. A Public Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
