In loving memory ~
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Geertruida (Truus, Trudy) van Haren in Red Deer, Alberta. Born in Holland, she immigrated to Canada in 1952 with her loving husband, Hendrick (Hank) van Haren where they first settled in Pilot Mound, Manitoba. They later permanently relocated to Red Deer, Alberta and retired to Half Moon Bay in Sylvan Lake. Trudy passed away in her residence after a hard working, active and fulfilling life.
She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving daughter, Maria Jewell and son, Peter John van Haren and their families; as well as many relatives and friends. A special thanks to all the staff at Timberstone who took care of Trudy during her twilight years.
