van Woudenberg, Pieter May 22, 1954 - Aug 27, 2009 After a difficult battle with leukemia Pieter passed away early Thursday morning. Pieter was born in the Netherlands and lived there until 1999. Until that time he lived in several different places and once he and his family moved to Canada he ended up living out by Usona. In November 2008 he moved into Wetaskiwin, in close proximity to the water tower. Pieter has had many different types of interests but in the last years he found his passion in improving water quality and all the research involved in doing so. His strong personality will never be forgotten by his wife Maria and children Sandra-Gijsbert, Rob, Linda and all his family and friends. Pieter's funeral will be held September 2, 2009 at the Baker Funeral Chapel in Wetaskiwin at 1 pm. He will be buried on the Crooked Lake cemetery out near Gwynne following the service.
