VANLUVEN June VanLuven of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on December 5, 2006 at the age of 73 years. June worked at the C.N.I.B. for more than twenty years and she was also a long-time volunteer at the Royal Canadian Legion. She had a large family that she was very close to. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. June will be lovingly remembered by six children; Diana (Vernon) Barghotz, Carole (Erwin) Sonnenberg, Lorraine (Micheal) Boyle, Paulette (Doug) Sheils, Barbara (Lorne) Johnson and Michael (Lynn) Corneau, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Edward (Lorraine) Masson, the father of her children, Roger Corneau and brother-in-law, Robert Corneau. June was predeceased by her husband Frederick in 1997, her parents and several brothers and sisters.
