Victor LUCKEY

LUCKEY Victor William Lawrence Luckey passed away on October 15, 2007 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 57. He was born August 16, 1950 in Regina, SK to Norma May and George Victor Luckey. He resided there until the age of 17 when he made the move to Alberta. In December of 1996 he was married to Annetta Luckey and they made their home in Innisfail. Vic is predeceased by his parents Norma May and George Victor Luckey. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Annetta Luckey; his children Lee Luckey, Dawn (Lane) Mottol, Meghan (Doug) Castle, Ellice (Jason) Abraham; his three grandchildren Brooklyn, William and Takota; his sisters Michelle (Claude) Juchacz, Joanne (Terry) Wallington; and brothers Kenneth Jr. (Sandra) Sherbin, Harry (Julie) Sherbin and Allen Sherbin. Vic worked in the oil and gas industry for many years, however, his true passions were for martial arts, (that he taught for forty years) and music. In his youth he spent time playing guitar in a band and still frequently entertained friends and family with his talent. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Vic enjoyed his times with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331- 29th Street N.W., Calgary, AB. T2N 4N2. A memorial service was held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 1:00 at Metcalf Funeral Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Metcalf Funeral Chapel, 4200 49th Ave., Innisfail. Phone 227-3123.
