FOLK Vincent Marvin May 16, 1957 - Feb. 17, 2009 Vince passed away suddenly in Red Deer at the age of 51. After having moved to Red Deer From Edmonton almost two years ago Vince was getting established in the community and making a home for himself. His desire to help people was evident by his participation in the Canadian Cancer Society Rotary Sunrise, The Schizophrenia Society, and other community events. Vince was predeceased by his first wife Deborah and his brother Larry. He will be dearly missed by his wife Barb (nee Weiss) and her children Sarah, Nathanael and Jonathan. Vince also leaves to mourn his dear son Braden and daughter Lindsey, parents Jim and Maureen Folk, Kathy Meyers, and siblings Beverley (Terry) and family of Red Deer, Terrence (Roxanne) and Colin (Patty) all of Edmonton. Vince touched many lives and will be greatly missed by family and friends in both Red Deer and Edmonton. A memorial celebration of Vince's life will be held at Riverbend United Church, 14907 45 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Potters Hands Ministry, 4935 51 Street, Red Deer, AB.
