ROBERTSON, Violet Irene
1919 - 2016
Violet Robertson was called to her Heavenly home on December 29, 2016. She passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospital at the age of 97. Violet was predeceased by her husband Allen, parents Hulda and Emil, Brother Marvin and Sister Lila. Violet will be remembered, in love, by her daughter Louene (Neil) Paquette and her three sons, Allen (Deb) Robertson, Mark (MaryAnn) Robertson, and Parry (Carol) Robertson, grandchildren, Suzanne (Jim) Jones, Ken Robertson, Jason Robertson, Brooke Paquette, Jill (Greg) DeZwaan, Kandis (Joel) Matthews, Keli (Chris) Cyr, Kayt (Stefan) Mahon, Shawna McLean, Jana McLean, Parker Robertson and Camille Robertson, and Violet's sister Mavis Kingsep and brother Roger Wester. Violet will also be fondly remembered as GG by her 23 great-grandchildren.
Violet was born and raised in the Bentley area. She enjoyed and loved her family dearly. Her friends, flowers and gardening were a joy to her. She also enjoyed volunteering her time to the community and church. Family always came first for Vi, and we could always count on her for love and support no matter what was happening in our lives. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Vi's life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Presbyterian Church, 5020 - 48 Street, Sylvan Lake, Alberta.
