Walter MALSBURY

MALSBURY Walter Gowans Malsbury passed away April 19, 2009. He was born on March 5, 1919 at the family farm in Edwell. Apart from serving in the air force during WWII, he stayed on the farm and raised Hereford cattle until well into his eighties. He was active in the community church and devoted to his family. For the last few years he lived in Vancouver with his daughter Ann Parkinson and her family. Walter was predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Rae, and brothers John and Jim Malsbury. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Ann (Rick) Parkinson, son John (Kathy), grandchildren Ian and Luke Parkinson, Heather (Kurt) Jacobs, Kevin (Sandy) Malsbury and Nancy Malsbury. He is survived by his brother Stan (Iona) Malsbury, sisters-in-law Ruth Ketchen, Muriel and Elaine Malsbury, and cousins nieces and nephews in Alberta and BC.
