Mr. Walter 'Wally' Lewis Wright passed away in Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Wally was born in Calgary, Alberta and was raised in Lacombe, Alberta.
Wally worked for Alberta Social Services as a Social Worker. He loved working with wood, playing the viola in an orchestra and fishing, but most of all he loved talking with people.
Wally will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-one years, Sheila, his two sons, Cameron and Gordon (Jennifer); his two grandsons, Peter and Theo; and his older brother, Joe (Shana); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Wally was predeceased by his twin brother, Wayne.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in Walter's honor may be made directly to Stars Air Ambulance at www.stars.ca or to Diabetes Canada at www.diabetes.ca
