Wendy Safron of Red Deer passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the age of 52 years. Wendy is survived by her son Craig Safron of Eckville; parents Murray and Darlene Craig of Eckville and soul mate Dennis (and his children Cara (Craig) Senyk, Burke Albrecht, Grant (Meagan) Albrecht). Also to cherish Wendy's memory are her uncle and aunt Don and Sharon Adams of Red Deer as well as numerous other family members and the many good friends made over the years. Wendy's family would like to express their appreciating and a sincere "Thank You" to the doctors, nurses and staff at the University of Alberta Hospital - Intensive Care Unit in Edmonton. The sincere kindness and compassion shown and the excellent care provided to Wendy and our family prior to and at the time of Wendy's passing was greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a private family urn interment will be held at a later date. A Celebration of Wendy's life will be held at the Livingstone's Church, 2020 - 40 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m..
