WESSNER Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Clinton Wessner of Red Deer passed away on March 7, 2006 at the age of 38 years. Kenny was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 16, 1967. He grew up on a farm south of Morse, Saskatchewan where he took his schooling. He was very much into sports particularly basketball and baseball. He started working in the oilfield at the age of 17 and was very hard working but took time to enjoy life. He loved his daughters and was a very dedicated loving father as well as having a great love for animals. Kenny is survived by his father Ken Wessner of Morse, Saskatchewan,; daughters Dawn Ekdahl and Shaylin Wessner of Red Deer; his brothers Rodney Kenney of Grand Prairie, Randy Benson, his cousin Grant Anderst of Edmonton; and his step mother Goldie Ann Fargo of Rimbey. His mother Dorothy Wessner, grandmother Caroline Wessner and grandfather Edward Wessner predeceased Kenney. A Service of Remembrance for the late Kenneth "Kenny" Wessner will be held at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Vergil Schmidt officiating. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House.
