It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Wilfred 'Wil' Zavadiuk in Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Wil was born in Vegreville, Alberta and around the age of fourteen he moved to Red Deer, Alberta, making Red Deer his home for seventy years. During that time, Wil touched many people's hearts and souls along his lifelong journey. Wil will be lovingly remembered by his two sisters, Elizabeth Cust and Elsie Stannard, his brother, Orest (Debra) and a sister-in-law, Isabel Zavadiuk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wil was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Mary Zavadiuk, his sisters, Hilda Rosychuk, Victoria Moreau and Shirley O'Toole and his brothers, Mike and Steve. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Caregivers at Michener Centre and Sunset Manor for their loving and excellent care of Wil.
A Celebration of Life for Wil will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
