TAYLOR

William Hugh

June 30 1923 to June 9 2014

It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Hugh on Monday June 9 2014. Hugh was born and raised in the village of Neath in Wales where he lived until the age of 73 at which time he decided to move "across the pond" to Canada, fell in love, got married and spent 18 wonderful years with his wife Edna Taylor. Hugh had a zest for life, a heart of gold and a passion for the arts, especially music which enabled him to travel all over the world, visiting many countries, as a lead tenor in the Welsh National Choir. Hugh enjoyed the outdoors, both in his garden and especially spending many hours fishing with his brother in law Neil. Hugh will be fondly remembered for his story telling, sharing all his life experiences with his family and friends. Although he will be missed by all who loved him, his memory will continue to live on in our hearts forever. Hugh leaves to mourn his loving wife Edna Taylor, son Alan Taylor (Veronica), grandchildren, Carly, Jodie and Kieran, special "daughter" Corinne Hudson (Jun) his brothers Fred Taylor (Edwina) and David Taylor (Helen), sister Joan Kerr (Doug) and family, brother in law Neil MacDonald and Family, sister in law Gloria Klos and Family, special friends Marjolein and Edward Bujnowicz, Stan and Eileen Schultz, numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors' both here in Canada and overseas. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Hugh's life will be held at the Red Deer Legion Friday July 11 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
