LAWRENCE William Francis (Bill, Buddy) Lawrence, beloved husband of Pat passed away at the Rosefield Centre in Innisfail with his wife at his side on October 9, 2009 at the age of 76 years olds. Lovingly remembered by his wife Pat, his children Marc (Theresa) of Dartmouth N.S., D. Tony (Jody) of Langley B.C., Stephen (Lorna) of Red Deer AB., and Laura (Dusty) of Lacombe AB., his daughter-in-law Louise of Red Deer AB., and his step-sons Dwayne and Greg. Also, his brothers Billy, Robert and Donald and his sisters May, Helen, Thelma and Grace, nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by first wife Doris Elizabeth, sons Todd and Jason, grandsons Christopher and Richard and his sisters Ruth and Margaret. Bill was born in Sydney N.S. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1951 to 1976. Bill worked at Bowden Institution from 1977 to his retirement. Bill's greatest love was golfing. He was past President of the Innisfail Golf and Country Club and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #104 in Innisfail. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on October 15, 2009 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #104, 5108-49 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta. A light lunch will follow.
