William (Willy) Alexander
1938 - 2014
William Alexander Chernak affectionately known as Willy by most, born December 29th, 1938 in Komarom, Hungary entered into rest April 18, 2014 at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents Jan Chernak and Saralta Sabia and his oldest son William Dale Chernak. Willy immigrated to Canada December 25, 1956. Willy worked as an appliance technician for most of his life in Canada. He liked camping and fishing in the Rocky and Nordegg areas. Willy leaves to mourn his sons James (Bev) Chernak and Rob (Vicky) Chernak, his grandchildren Alisha, Christy, Billy, Justyn and Alyssa, his step grandchildren Chris, Jennifer, Lyndon and Shawn, and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of The Rocky Funeral Home, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with a lunch to follow upstairs. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Clearwater Center in Rocky Mountain House.
