WOLFER 1914 - 2008 Emma Wolfer (nee Grusie) passed away on August 13, 2008 at the Red Deer Nursing home surrounded by family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Lancy (Bill) Lohm of Sydney, BC, Dolores Dederer of Red Deer, AB; 4 grandchildren, Clayton (Linda) Lohm of Edmonton, AB, Janice (Rob) Rowlings of Duncan, BC, Gray (Lorel) Dederer of Canmore, AB, Karen (Al) Dalman of Edmonton AB; 5 great grandchildren; Natalie, Scott, Roxanne, Neall, Marissa; 4 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Linda (Jack) Treiber of Medicine Hat, AB, Edna Treiber of Kelowna, BC; 2 brothers Arthur (Lillian) Grusie of Calgary, AB Gust (Emma) Gruszie of Medicine Hat, AB; and brother in law Victor (Pat) Wolfer of Medicine Hat, AB. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert Wolfer and her son in law Henery Dederer. Emma and Herb married in 1930 in Burstall, SK, raised their family in Medicine Hat, AB and then moved to Red Deer, AB in the early 1960's. Emma's great loves in life included singing, cooking, gardening and dancing with herb on Saturday evenings. She kept an immaculate house and enjoyed entertaining family and friends, She was never too tired to help out her family. Private family service will be held at Emma's request.
