WOLNEY 1918 - 2008 Mr. Teofil Wolney of Red Deer died at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Thursday, October 29, 2008 at the age of 90 years. He was born at Coleman, Alberta on May 3, 1918. In 1919 the family moved to Leslieville. Teofil farmed, worked rigs, and worked at Deerhome until his retirement. He loved fishing and hunting and had great gardens every year. He is survived by his wife Bernice, sons, Dennis (Lorna) of Eckville; John (Jean) of Fox Creek; Barry (Barb) of Prince George; daughter Marilyn (John) of Okotoks; eight grandchildren, seven great grand children; a brother Marcel (Eunice) of Langley, British Columbia; a sister-in-law, Fern of Lavington, British Columbia; a brother-in-law, Bill Grisbrook of Leduc; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Mark Wolney, parents, his brothers John, Rudy, Emil, Gus and sisters Helen, Mary and Nellie. A memorial tea will be held at the Leslieville Hall, Leslieville, Alberta on Monday, November 3, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm. Donations may be made directly to the charity of ones choice.
