YUCKER 1926 - 2009 William "Bill" George Yucker of Stettler, AB passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Bill was born on February 10, 1926 in Stettler to Albert and Elisabeth. He grew up on a farm near Stettler. He farmed for 50 years and then worked at the town centre mall in Stettler before moving to Eckville. Bill and Audrey lived in Eckville until Bill suffered numerous heart attacks and required additional care. Bill lived at Valley Park Manor until the time of his death. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Audrey, three sons; William (Candy) of Blackfalds, Norman (Sherryl) of Nova Scotia and Jim (Linda) of British Columbia, four daughters; Hazel Ann Yucker of Stettler, Betty Yucker of Ontario, Diana (John) Glassier of Leslieville and Susan (Chris) Brown of Red Deer, as well as nineteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Emma Holtz of Stettler. Bill was predeceased by his parents; Albert and Elisabeth Yucker, one step-daughter, Rose, one sister and numerous aunts and uncles.
