ZIOLA, 1918 - 2007 Mrs. Pauline Ziola of Red Deer passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre, Sylvan Lake on Friday, March 16, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Pauline was born February 06, 1918 on the family farm near Margo, Sk. Pauline married Jack Ziola July 1937 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church - Margo, Sk. In 1947 they moved their family to the farm near Sylvan Lake, where she resided until 1999. Pauline will be remembered mostly for her wonderful cooking, lovely garden of flowers and for being an exceptional and very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Ethel (Al) Bank of Calgary, Tom (Ann) Ziola of Red Deer, Judy (John) Edmunds of Calgary and Dale Ziola of Red Deer, her six grandchildren, Carol Delisle, Jeff Bank, Jacquie (Rick) Shoemaker, Jo-Anne Edmunds, Kimberly (Ron) Jones and Kevin (Roxy) Ziola and three great grandchildren, Jason Delisle, Colin Delisle and Amy Jones. Pauline is also survived by her five sisters, Alma, Mary, Emma, Millie and Mabel, & numerous nephews, nieces & cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Ziola in 1995, her parents, Emil and Natalia Fidelack, three sisters, Martha, Elsie and Violet and her brother, Oscar. The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses & staff of Sylvan Lake Bethany Care Centre for their professional & compassionate care of our dear mother. A funeral service for the late Mrs. Pauline Ziola will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Blvd., Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer. If desired, memorial tributes in Pauline's name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society (105, 4807 - 50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 4A5).
