HOLMES Zoey Lee Aug. 19, 2006 - Mar. 30, 2009 Zoey was born at the Red Deer Hospital, and spent most of her life living in and around Lacombe, with a short stay in Valleyview, AB. She was diagnosed with germ cell cancer May 27, 2008. She endured several rounds of chemotherapy, a couple of surgeries, and two stem cell transplants. Zoey was full of smiles and definitely knew who she did and did not want to play with. She loved bacon, Schneider's All Beef Bologna, chicken strips, and jewellery; but most of all Barney and her tooties. She will be greatly missed by her parents Eldon and Ashlee (Haakonson) Holmes, as well as her big brother Ty Jordan. She is survived by her great grandparent, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and everybody else her smile has touched. We would like to say a special thank you too Dr. Ron Anderson and all of the staff at the Alberta Children's Hospital. As well as Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta, and all of our RMH family. Funeral Service will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM.
