Alberta to hold referendum on equalization this fall

There’s an old adage that goes “when you’re preaching to the people, start early and stay late” and I’m opting to start early.

The issue at hand is equalization and our chance (at last) to see if we can get that program into balance.

Premier Jason Kenney has come through on one of his stump promises and scheduled a “referendum vote” on this program in October and I’m here to encourage absolutely every last Albertan to get ready to vote yes to stopping this unjust siphoning off of our money to the east.

We’ve never had this kind of opportunity and it’s a process we just cannot afford to ignore. It’s unfathomable to me to even think even one Albertan would vote no. But here’s the thing, yes or no, let’s take part in the crucial vote.
