Black Knight Inn will be missed

It is a sad time for all when we lose quality businesses such as the Black Knight Inn.

But it should not be surprising given the economic situation due to the COVID pandemic.

As a patron of the restaurant and lounge, I can truly say that they had a very good recipe for success; competent management, great food; fair pricing, and great and personable staff.

The Black Knight was also a major supporter of several Red Deer organizations and will be sadly missed by the community but no business can operate for long without income and most people are still nervous (rightfully so) about dining out and travelling or having a pint or with their friends in enclosed buildings.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Ken Mandrusiak and his great staff for the many years of great food and hospitality.

You have all served the people that patronized you well. The Black Knight in will be missed and hopefully can be resurrected once again with the same caliber of staff, food, and service once this pandemic is over.

Unfortunately others are having problems as well as I read about Tony Roma’s also closing.
