As per usual UCP tactics, on Friday afternoon, our “esteemed” minister of health, Tyler Shandro, quietly announced that Alberta Health Services will amalgamate and take control of the EMS dispatch system in this area and move it to a regional hub in Calgary, or beyond.
Human lives matter, Mr. Shandro.
And seconds matter when saving lives.
So, please put human lives ahead of some questionable cost saving, and don’t mess with a successful system that is not broken.
It could be a family member of yours who is saved.
