Letter: Bird watching from Normandeau home in Red Deer

These regular finches usually enjoy our feeders once in the morning and just before sunset.

This time that brought their friends with them.

I always have the camera near-by just in case of such an opportune image.

To think we live in Normandeau, one block west of the old GoAuto used to be, now demolished to make way for a new strip-mall, gas station, etc.

Both my wife and I are bird lovers and it wasn’t too long ago, we donated a memory stick with hundred of images we have taken of many species of birds to Kerry Wood Bird Sanctuary – so children, adults of all ages can appreciate nature at it’s finest.
