I believe there are some people in our culture who see Christmas mainly as an excuse to try to make money – selling cola, lottery tickets and everything in between.
To me it is a sad comment on our society if we have so lost the true meaning of Christmas that even Santa Claus might be repelled by how commercialized we have let it become.
Let’s get back to the real reason for the season and why we celebrate.
