Congratulations to the few restaurants that are taking a stand against government restrictions on dine in service.

I would really like someone like Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, or any other medical professional explain the flawed rational behind this.

An individual, couple, or family orders take out or delivery and that is fine, but you are not worthy of sitting in a safe environment in a restaurant to eat.

Can no one realize that whether take out, delivery, or dine in food it is prepared by the same people in all cases. The only addition is the waitress or driver that delivers the food.

As for consuming the meal, the same individual, couple, or family is having the same meal at home that they would in restaurant (may be even healthier) but likely without the safeguards of in restaurant dining. Every eating establishment that I have seen does indeed practice social distancing, hand sanitizing, and complete table and area sanitizing between customers.

I feel a lot safer dining in a sit down restaurant than shopping at big box stores that are allowed to stay open.

We all need to keep sensible and safe, just not ridiculous.
