The days are now much longer
As our birthday time is here
And we want to celebrate
When we see our flag appear
It makes us all feel so proud
Seeing it blowing in the breeze
Knowing it stands for so much
For a land which is at peace
So now on July First
We’ll try to remember why
We’re proud to be Canadians
When we see our flag up high.
