Letter: Late sunrise? No thanks

In a letter to the Advocate published on Oct. 2, Michael Thain pointed out that the only choices the UCP government has given us are to either continue switching our clocks twice per year, or move to continuous Daylight Saving Time. If these are the only choices, then I agree with Thain, and would prefer to keep changing the clocks twice a year. I certainly do not want continuous DST when that option would mean the sun does not rise until around 9 or 10 a.m. for much of December and January.

Continuous MST would be better, but we haven’t been given that choice.
