This letter is in regards to the opinion piece by several Alberta physicians Facts the only cure for epidemic of vaccine misinformation published in the Advocate on Oct. 5.
I would appreciate knowing the facts for the 207 health care workers being off with COVID – article published in the Advocate also on Oct. 5. Knowing the facts would help develop proactive prevention.
What I would like to see is as follows:
Were staff wearing protective masks, gloves and following protocols?
Number of staff that were vaccinated.
Number of staff that were not vaccinated.
How many of vaccinated died.
How many of vaccinated required hospitalization.
How many of vaccinated had mild reaction.
Number of unvaccinated staff that died.
Number of unvaccinated staff that were hospitalized.
Number of unvaccinated that had mild reaction.
Number of staff that had COVID anytime before this recent outbreak.
We need more information and insight on existing pratices and protocols for health care workers.
