My frustration level is very high at the moment.

Red Deer has resources for people if they need help. I find myself needing help but of course have to be on a waiting list. I need help now, not in six months. I’m a single grandmother raising two kids.

The place I live in has many problems and is too far away from amenities and school. I can’t afford rent on my own. I find it frustrating being on a fixed income living in a place that feels unsafe. But I don’t qualify to receive help at this point.

Our society needs to help seniors – not just those who are dealing with homelessness.
