In the ongoing public trial of Alberta vs Bigfoot, I have to say that this time I side with Premier Jason Kenney and the UCP government.
The Netflix cartoon movie about an evil oil company seeking to blow up a mountain and flood Rocky Valley with toxic oil is grossly misrepresentative of how the oil and gas industries operate. Beyond mere entertainment, the movie sends a false message aimed at children.
Oil companies do not blow up mountain tops, destroying entire ecosystems, killing and displacing wildlife and leaving a poisonous scar on the planet.
That’s what coal companies do.
