Alberta UCP- Santa or Scrooge?
Under cover of Covid-19 pandemic, UCP continues to pursue reckless economic recovery plans for Alberta:
1. Delisted 164 Alberta parks March 3, 2020.
2. Rescinded Coal policy June 1, 2020 enabling open pit coal mining which will impact 60 parks.
3. Offering coal leases in eastern slopes of Rocky Mountains Dec 5, 2020.
4. Rewriting water use access rules along Eastern Slopes of Rockies impacting Oldman River Basin and area creeks Dec 7, 2020.
Supporting boom/bust industries instead of long term sustainable industries like agriculture, ranching and tourism is very short sighted.
