My senior friends and I all proudly supported the Lougheed and Getty governments and can’t believe what a farce this Alberta Conservative Party has become. We haven’t forgotten the gong show we watched when Wildrose Party leader Danielle Smith and Jim Prentice joined forces and got all of them defeated and we know they are headed for a repeat performance.
Members of this UCP government show no respect for our doctors. Our health care restrictions have created the highest per capita number of cases of Covid in Canada and the UCP doesn’t seem to care about the deaths it has created.
While they blame Ottawa for our financial mess they slash taxes to benefit their rich friends, and promise to cut 11,000 health-care jobs, teaching jobs, increase university tuition fees, privatize our land titles office, want to privatize our health-care services, and our provincial parks, along with our RCMP force, and blame Bigfoot for attacks on our oil industry because they can’t find anyone else to blame.
Without any thought or concern for what it would do to us they deliberately try to put our water supply at risk and kick out our rural doctors.
In other words they want to destroy everything our conservative hero Peter Lougheed created for us, and don’t care who gets hurt by their actions. Without a doubt they have proven that there is nothing conservative about them.
