My wife was airlifted to Red Deer hospital from Provost late Wednesday night and that’s when the issues with the Red Deer hospital began.

She ended up waiting in an ambulance three hours before hospital staff would even allow her to be unloaded.

She was suppose to be on antibiotics via IV but from what my wife told me, she got very little until she was finally moved up to a ward on the third floor.

She was suppose to see bunch of specialists but as of 7:30 a.m. Friday, she still hasnt seen any specialists.

If my wife had cancer, she’d be dead before she got any answers.

I hope no other patients will be treated like my wife has.

Chris Ritchie, Provost
