Toughest player you’ve played against?
Jared Cowen in Spokane — He’s a big defenceman, so whenever I come down on a rush against him he’s always got his stick in my way.
How do you like your hockey stick?
I don’t like any grip on my stick, so I sand it off. And I just tape it normally, I don’t do anything special to it or write anything special on it I just play with what I got.
What’s your favourite movie?
Dumb & Dumber — It’s the funniest movie I’ve seen, Jim Carey is hilarious in it, and the guys always watch it on the road trips.
If you could play like anyone?
Ilya Kovalchuk, he’s a skilled and dynamic player. He’s just a good offensive hockey player and it seems he does well in his own end too.
Favourite non-hockey Olympic sport?
Alpine skiing is pretty cool to watch, the go so fast down the mountain that I think if I did that I would be scared.
