A trio of football players from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School and two other Central Albertans were named to the Football Alberta Senior Bowl North roster.
The game, for graduating Grade 12 players is slated to take place on May 23 at ME Global Athletic Park in Lacombe.
Running back Spencer Juricic, defensive lineman Lukas Lynch and defensive back John Sansom from Lindsay Thurber all made the 40-player roster. They were selected based on a tryout at Edmonton’s Foote Field last week.
Lacombe wide receiver Gabe Hiebert and defensive back Kieran Sherman of Stettler were also named to the roster.
This year marks the first time in two seasons the senior bowl will be held.
