Hunting Hills Lightning (4-0) at Sylvan Lake Lakers (2-2), 4:30 p.m. — The Lightning. led by RB Stas McPhail, have played better than anyone expected while the Lakers have shown some flaws this season, Still the Lakers have talent and considering they’re playing at home, pick: Sylvan Lake.

Rocky Rebels (1-3) at Lindsay Thurber Raiders (0-3-1). 7:30 p.m., Great Chief Park — The Rebels have struggled of late and the Raiders, despite their record appear to have some talent. Pick: Lindsay Thurber.

Notre Dame Cougars (3-0) at Stettler Wildcats (0-2-1), 4 p.m. — The Wildcats aren’t as strong as they have been in the past while the Cougars are their normal solid self, led by RB Dale MacDonald. Pick: Notre Dame.

Lacombe Rams (3-0) at Camrose Trojans (1-2), 7:30 p.m. — Until they prove otherwise the Rams are the team to beat in the league. The Trojans certainly have talent on offence and they’ll need to show that in this one. Pick: Lacombe.

2008 record: 27 right, nine wrong .750
