With a fresh WHL season about to begin, the Red Deer Advocate has taken another exciting step forward in the web world.

The Rebels will open the 2009-10 season tonight at the Centrium where they’ll host their favourite rivals the Calgary Hitmen, at 7:30 p.m .

To kick off the new season, the Advocate has rolled out the all-new Rebels Central, an in-depth website dedicated exclusively to Rebels coverage.

At Rebels Central, readers will find the latest Rebels news, columns, game results, player profiles, schedules, photo galleries and video.

We’ve also added a Twitter feature that allows users to follow along with updates from the team dressing room.

Dont be the person asking: “How are the Rebels doing?”
