The Red Deer Bantam AAA Rebels seemed to be down and out after a pair of home losses to start the provincial final.
Behind 2-0 in the best-of-five provincial championship series to the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers, Red Deer stormed back and won twice on the road to force Game 5.
Saturday, Red Deer scored three times in the second period, including two goals from Nolan Larson. Despite a late rally from the Rangers, Talon Brigley and Tyler MacKenzie scored in the third for the Rebels to win Game 3.
In Game 4, Kaden Toussaint pitched a shutout and Red Deer earned a 3-0 win. Larson, MacKenzie and Nate Danielson had goals in the victory.
Beauty weekend for a comeback! And the Rebels take game 4 making the series a 2-2 tie!! Danielson with an empty netter at 21s. Toussaint with the shutout!
