Team Canada’s women’s goalball team has been eliminated at the Paraylmpics in Tokyo, Japan.

Canada, coached by Red Deer’s Trent Farebrother, was ousted after falling to China 4-2 in the team’s final game of regular play Monday.

Unable to qualify for the quarter-finals, Canada finished fifth in its group, with one win and three loses. Overall, the team had 12 goals for and 15 against.

China finished first in the group with three wins and one lose, while Israel, the Russian Paralympic Committee and Australia all finished with 2-2 records.
