The RDC Kings started quickly, but faded in the end as they dropped a 3-1 decision to the Team Canada Masters at RDC Thursday.
Kings won the first game 25-21 before losing 15-25, 22-25, 17-25.
“It was similar to our loss against SAIT, we started strong then got complacent,” said Kings head coach Aaron Schulha. “The guys didn’t expect them to be better than they were the first game and they took it to us.”
Taylor Hunt had 12 kills for RDC with Jeremy Stubler adding six kills and two stuff blocks.
Kings face NAIT Tuesday at Hunting Hills.
