Canadian women’s hockey team to meet with fans in Red Deer

The Canadian Women’s National Hockey Team will be at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday to meet with fans.

The Canadian Women’s National Hockey Team will be at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday to meet with fans.

The team is back in Alberta practicing and playing after their victory at the Four Nations Cup in Finland.

Female hockey legend Hayley Wickenheiser, along with the Canadian Women’s Hockey National Team coach Melody Davidson, will share their stories about the road to the 2010 Olympics.

People can bring their camera to get a shot with their favourite hockey player. The cost for the presentation is $3 or $25 per hockey team. To book your team or for more information call Debbie at 403-341-8614.
