Carter Graf tied for fourth at Canadian Boys Championship

Carter Graf is in the hunt at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship.

Graf, 18, ended the opening round of the 72-hole event in Hartland, New Brunswick at five-under-par and in a three-way tie for fourth.

The teen birdied the first two holes of his round and was one-under after the first nine holes. He heated up on the back nine, firing a four-under 32. On the back, he recorded four birdies and an eagle on the par-four 14th hole.

Graf won the Alberta Junior Championship earlier this summer.
