Rocky Mountain House golfer Saylar May had a round to remember Sunday on the Maple Leaf Junior Mini Tour.
The 12-year-old posted a blistered 69 to win her first event of the season, which included seven birdies at the Olds Golf Club.
“I made a lot of clutch putts,” she said. “It’s awesome to win the first event of the season.”
Sylvan Lake’s Jacob Natomagan, 10, won by a countback with a 74 in the Boys 9-10 age category. Ain Lee, 7, of Sylvan Lake was second in the Girls 8U category with a 101 and Red Deer’s Bennett Love, 10, was third in the Boys 11-12 category with a 78.
